Malaysia Electric Vehicle Market
Malaysian firms have begun developing prototypes for future electric automobiles. Proton is one of these companies. Its model, the Proton Iriz EV, was on show at the 2021 International Genentech and Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia as the first locally produced electric vehicle. Electric and hybrid car research is also being conducted by companies such as Perdue in the forecast period.
