The Blodgett BL17515 Oven Ignitor produces the heat required to ignite the gas burner in compatible commercial ovens. Electrical current passes through the ignitor element, raising its temperature until it can initiate combustion at the burner. The assembly is 2-3/4 inches long and includes 15-inch leads for connection to the ignition circuit. One lead terminates with a 3/16-inch female push-on connector, while the other has a stripped wire end.
