PT-A and AP-A: Understanding the Difference Between Two Air Polishing

Woodpecker offers two air polishing systems, PT-A and AP-A, that are used for slightly different clinical conditions. The Woodpecker PT-A is a combined unit that includes both ultrasonic scaling and air polishing in one system. It\'s used when cases have deposits that need scaling, followed by air polishing to remove surface stains and finish the cleaning. This allows clinicians to complete multiple hygiene methods using one device. The Woodpecker AP-A is a devoted air polisher.
