Panch Kedar refers to five sacred temples of Lord Shiva located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand — Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar, and Kalpeshwar. According to Hindu mythology, these temples mark the places where different body parts of Lord Shiva appeared after he disappeared in the form of a bull to avoid the Pandavas after the Mahabharata war.
