Electricity Tariff Hike In TN : Electricity tariff hike came into force in Tamil Nadu
In a press release issued by the Tamil Nadu government regarding the reasons for the increase in power tariff, “The financial loss of the Tamil Nadu Power Generation and Distribution Corporation was Rs 18,954 crore in 2011-12. The financial loss of the Tamil Nadu Power Generation and Distribution Corporation rose to Rs 1,13,266 crore for the year ended March 31, 2021.
